I have been working in nursing homes for over ten years as a certified nursing aide. I have experiencing joyful moments and sad moments, but I always enjoy working with the residents. I feel happy if the residents smile and their family expresses how thankful they are. Everyday activities are dealing with the many personalities of older people that I have to deal with. However, I learned a lot from them; I learned how to be patient, to be compassionate, humanity, love, care, and responsibility.
In 2013, deep in my heart, I had a feeling of wanting to give more to these elderly. I wanted to give them a better service, an excellent service, so they can fully enjoy their life in their golden years. Therefore, to make this come to reality, I went back to college to learn about Healthcare Management. In April 2015, I succeed in earning my Bachelor degree with a concentration in Healthcare Management. I did not feel that I am equip enough to be a knowledgeable for administrator, so I am continuing study to get MBA in Healthcare Management, and I am now I am holding that degree; MBA in Healthcare Management (Graduated in April, 2018).
I completed my Administrator In Training (AIT) at Evergreen Community JC. It is my aspiration to be a Nursing Home Administrator, to serve residents, families, and employees in an endeavor toward a good company ethical culture.
